About

About the Girl's Fellowship

Founded in 1964 by Rev. Irene Morrow, the Methodist Girls' Fellowship exists to provide Christian formation for girls and young women through biblical teaching, discipleship, fellowship, and service. The Fellowship operates under the Youth Development Ministry of The Methodist Church Ghana and seeks to raise young women who live lives of purity, faith, and Christian leadership.

Open to girls between the ages of five and eighteen, with leadership drawn from young women aged nineteen to thirty-five, MGF has grown into one of the largest youth organisations in the Connexion, serving nearly 47,000 members across societies, circuits, dioceses, and international missions.

Through regular Bible studies, leadership training, conferences, evangelistic outreach, community service, health education, and mentoring, the Fellowship equips members to become worthy ambassadors of Christ who make meaningful contributions to both the Church and society.
