About

About the Christ's Little Band

The Christ Little Band traces its roots to the early Methodist movement in Ghana, where small prayer and Bible study groups emerged among early converts during the missionary era. These fellowships were established to encourage believers to pursue deeper spiritual discipline and holiness beyond regular church attendance.

By the early twentieth century, the movement had spread across several dioceses of The Methodist Church Ghana. Historical records indicate that the Band was formally organised in Kumasi in 1912, where it flourished through members devoted to prayer, unity, evangelism, and faithful Christian living.

Today, the Christ Little Band continues to strengthen the spiritual life of the Church through prayer, Bible study, discipleship, evangelism, and revival ministry. It remains a vital force for nurturing committed Christians who faithfully uphold the Methodist tradition of holiness, intercession, and service.
